[ Extension ] The ease of accessing different modes of transportation is significantly different from just a few decades ago. Not only is catching a flight convenient but so is booking a ticket. With the click of a few buttons, we can find ourselves in the seat of a train, cruise ship, or a stranger's car. [ Viewpoint 2 ] Another difference is how we document our travels. A journey that would require days or even weeks of train travel takes mere hours by plane. [ Viewpoint 2 ] However, one underrated benefit of travelling by train is the view. [ Extension ] Travellers can sit back and enjoy the scenery on a train. This is especially true for trains that move at a slower pace.
